Century Yuasa Batteries are the sponsor of the upcoming 2009 NZHRA Hot Rod Lottery.

Century Yuasa Batteries are also the naming rights sponsor of the 2009 NZHRA Street Rod Nationals hosted by Sulphur City Rod & Custom Club in November.

This agreement cements the relationship between Century Yuasa and the New Zealand Hot Rod Association, giving Century Yuasa huge exposure both at the Street Rod Nationals, and from headline involvement with the lottery.

The Century Yuasa branding will appear on each of the 20,000 lottery tickets and posters, and the lottery hot rod will be on display at the Century Yuasa Street Rod Nationals.

The prize, a 1930 Model A roadster, is powered by a Ford 302, C4 and nine-inch rear, and is valued at over $50,000.

Century Yuasa Hot Rod Lottery tickets will be available from NZHRA clubs, individual members, at selected retail outlets and at NZHRA events from September, for just $6 each. All NZHRA clubs will receive $1 from any ticket sales they make.

The lottery closes at the end of November and the winner will be announced in early December.
